At the core of the new engineering “campus”, the plaza provides a park-like open green space to enhance the students’ experience outside the classroom, provides unique venues to showcase student work, and features donor inscription display tiles. A bioswale with native plants effectively filters stormwater runoff and landscape irrigation drainage. We were proud and honored to be part of a multi-discipline design and construction team made up of several local and state-wide professionals, as well as the Cal Poly Dept. of Facilities Planning & Capital Projects staff.
