Highlights:
The Congregation Beth-David project required a Conditional Use Permit in order to construct a new religious facility on agriculturally zoned land. The project is located at the corner of Foothill Boulevard and Los Osos Valley Road. Oasis Associates, Inc. acted as project manager through the design, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), entitlement and construction process. The facility was the first LEED certified building in the County and was designed to blend in with the landscape and make use of passive solar and wind energy. Overall, the project was geared to be youth and family oriented, although it is also well-suited for seniors, teenagers, and single adults. Please refer to the “White Papers” section for a case study specific to this project.
