Ground broke in May 2026 for the new elementary school campus at Skyline Ranch in Santa Clarita. This $38.6 million project will add a much-needed 10th school to the Sulphur Springs Union School District and is designed to serve up to 650 students. The new elementary school campus hardscapes include a student quad, library patio, outdoor classrooms, athletic fields, and a kindergarten playground.
Skyline Ranch Elementary School is designed for students to learn in their classrooms as well as outside. Large trees provide shade for students and staff throughout the campus. The kindergarten playground features a play structure, tricycle track, blacktop games, and seating for the younger students. The outdoor classrooms, with seatwalls and enhanced paving, are ideal for outdoor education for the older students. This new elementary school also features an open area for assemblies and events and a covered, outdoor cafeteria dining area.
