After a year of putting off our rigorous training regimens, Team Oasis still came back strong at the 2018 Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) ‘Dodge for a Cause’ Dodgeball Tournament. This fun and energetic fundraiser for the BBBS non-profit organization brought the community together at the Avila Bay Resort. Teams came dressed up – either silly or serious – and competed for the grand trophy. This year, we enjoyed street tacos and refreshments for fuel in between rounds. Competition was hot despite the cool Fall weather; after the third round, we hung up our uniforms for a good cause.

The San Luis Obispo chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters really captured our hearts at last week’s event. We appreciate and proudly support their continuing efforts to raise money for children, who may face adversity in their day-to-day lives, so that they can reach their potential through relationships with volunteer mentors.
