Client:
This project involved the development of a new winery and tasting room. Landscape elements include an automatic ornamental iron entry gate, and a low stone entry wall with brass signage. A large exterior patio for gatherings and meetings is adjacent to the tasting room. A semi-circular overhead structure compliments the patio, providing this area with welcome shade during warm weather.
The planting palette includes a variety of native plants, flowering trees, perennials and groundcover roses. Thus, warm colors are present throughout the growing season to delight the visitor. Gray-slate walking paths guide visitors throughout the winery gardens. Various lawns provide soft areas for additional informal seating and viewing.
