After all the waiting and watching, in high anticipation, students at Bonita Elementary School in Santa Maria were able to run and enjoy their new 35,000 square-foot turf playing field!  With the new synthetic turf field the school doesn’t have to shut down the field anymore due to holes, mud, and/or other safety concerns; the students now have a safe environment to play and thrive at all times! The weekly school soccer tournaments will begin again soon, as soccer is one of the school’s most popular sports and brings the entire school together for enrichment, unity, and FUN.
